Love for Life - Oil on Canvas - 60 x 40 cm

LOVE FOR LIFE: The setting of this painting is at my grandmother's place in a charming French village. My parents had their wedding photos taken under the arches, and 40 rose bushes were planted there to celebrate my grandparent's 40th anniversary. Dolphin and I got married there too, close to 20 years ago.

This painting celebrates the joy and depth acquired while maturing and aging with the support of a long standing commitment.

It is, of course, about loving each other but it is mostly about growing as individuals within the mirror of the relationship as well as learning to love life with all its ups and down… A real path of realisation and awakening in the 'everyday monastery!'
